Diecast News & Chat
Diecast News & Chat was commissioned by a client in the Netherlands who wanted to build a completely independent news site and forum community. Bringing news and open, unbiased discussion of all brands and retailers was crucial and so the design was specifically executed to communicate a defiantly independent proposition.
The news site is a fully content-managed system with Web 2.0 integration in all relevant areas, and heavily SEO’d – down to the “does what it says on the tin” domain name, whilst the forum is built on the industry standard phpBB with a completely customised skin and branded design to match it to the main site.
