A brand identity for a new travel review website. The brand requirement was that it should be clean and modern and basically authoritative, whilst also ensuring a friendly, approachable tone – most obviously lent by the cheeky brand name.
The colours were warm and holiday-like, reinforced with an iconic suitcase to carry the wording, and the typography was clear and simple, but with slightly rounded forms and variable sizes in an informal composition to add dynamism and fun, whilst using darker, richer colour tones to reinforce the ‘dependable’ nature of the brand.
