Commissioned logo design for indie band Shabu.
Based on the provision of ‘inspirational’ artworks by the band, along with music clips to help define the appropriate direction.
The complexity and breadth of the music style and scope meant that a number of routes were possible – in imagery, colour and typography – but a fully interactive process of comparing notes and passing ideas back and forth with band members led to the final design.
